Orchard Pear Old Fashioned

Pear can be delicate, so this Old Fashioned uses it as a quiet orchard note rather than the main event. Demerara, bitters, and orange oil keep the drink classic in structure.

Whiskey Scene Notes

A bourbon with orchard fruit, caramel, and polished oak is ideal. Keep the pear syrup subtle so the drink still reads as an Old Fashioned.
