Spiced Pear Bourbon Smash

The Spiced Pear Bourbon Smash is a soft, fragrant cocktail with a fresh-fruit center. Pear brings gentle sweetness, lemon brightens the glass, mint keeps it from feeling too heavy, and warm spice gives the drink seasonal shape. It is approachable, pretty, and especially good when pears are ripe and aromatic.

Whiskey Scene Notes

A bourbon with vanilla, caramel, and baking spice works beautifully here. If your pear is very ripe, reduce the syrup slightly so the drink stays fresh instead of becoming too sweet.
