The Apricot Ginger Whiskey Sour is bright, lively, and just a little unexpected. Apricot gives the drink a round stone-fruit center, ginger adds heat, and lemon keeps the finish clean. It is a sour with enough personality for cocktail hour, but enough balance to stay easy to drink.

- Apricot slice or candied ginger, for garnish
Method

- Add ice and shake until chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish.
Whiskey Scene Notes
Apricot has a delicate flavor, so avoid a bourbon that is too tannic or hot. A bottle with vanilla, honey, and soft spice will let the fruit come forward.
